Welcome To The Research Club of Utah Valley!

Welcome to RCUV.org! We are currently working on what is called "Orgsync"... basically it's a website that tracks all of the goings-on in clubs at Universities. However, I feel that this will remain our main page.

We have many goals for RCUV, including, but not limited to:
-To learn more about research, locally and worldwide
-Encourage students to become more involved in research
-Provide networking opportunities with many local companies
-Help students get accepted into internships, graduate programs, and research employment programs
-Field trips to local research labs (i.e. Huntsman Cancer Institute, Myriad Genetics, etc.)
-Field trips to other places (i.e. the zoo, possibly the Body World exhibit at the U of U, etc.)
-Have fun (i.e. as much free food as possible)
-Provide leadership experience to those who need it
-And a lot of other things

Basically, we want to make this club as fun as possible without taking up too much of the members' time. So come try us out, paying dues has it's benefit, but isn't required.

On Wednesday, Novermber 19 we will be taking our field trip to the Huntsman Cancer Institute, Myriad Genetics, and the Zoo. Everything will be provided, including transportation, lunch, and the zoo admission. We will be leaving UVU at 8:00 A.M. and be returning around 3:00. We will be given exclusive tours of each place and hopefully a behind the scenes look at the zoo!

 We only have 15 seats left, so please RSVP with your phone number to let us know if you are for sure coming.

Come join us for free pizza, drinks, and ice cream. We will be introducing the club and our goals as a club. If you're interested in research (in any field), want to know more about research, want to get involved in research, or just want free food, this is the place for you. Anyone is welcome, so bring your friends and come find out what the Research Club of Utah Valley is all about.
